Machine suitable for closing glass containers (jars and bottles) by means of TWIST-OFF CAPS.
Manufacturing features
Basement with supporting plate in carbon steel, structure and total covering in AISI 304 stainless steel with inspection doors and height adjustable feet.
Conveyor belt with stainless steel table-top chain mounted on an antifriction section with adjustable side guides.
Side belts for containers dragging and steadiness.
Caps releasing and pre-screwing unit.
Steam sprigging unit for steam injection in the space between the cap and the container thread in order to soften the gasket and take the air away from the container head space, thus allowing the vacuum formation inside the container after closure.
Closing unit with variable speed flat belts.
The caps releasing unit and screwing unit are adjustable independently (as regards also to the dragging belts) by hand-wheels with a very simple and rapid operation.
Centralised motorization with variable speed driver.
Head lifting system by an electro-mechanical unit for machine’s head height adjustment according to the containers height with max. and min. automatic safety devices.

MAGNETIC FEEDER FOR TWIST-OFF CAPS composed of: basement and feeding hopper in AISI 304 stainless steel, vertical magnetic elevator with belt in “vipla” which conveys the caps to the chute. The caps are then conveyed to the releasing group where they are picked by the containers.
The absence of wrongly oriented capsules is granted by the presence of 3 control and expulsion groups which, by means of a side jet of air, expel the wrongly oriented caps and make them fall into the hopper.
First control unit with photocell for sorting and expulsion of superimposed caps.
Second control unit with proximity-switch for expulsion of wrongly oriented caps.
Third control unit with proximity-switch for further checking of the possible presence of wrongly oriented caps and their expulsion.
Visual warning for lack of caps inside the hopper by means of a photocell.
“Too full” control device on the caps’feeding chute = magnetic feeder stop.
"Too empty” control device on caps’ feeding chute = machine stop.
Caps feeding = machine automatic re-start.
Chute for the connection with the Capper.
Driving by adjustable speed motor.
Electric control board in stainless steel.
